According to TMZ- Rick Ross was arrested in Shreverport, Louisiana on Marijuana charges. Supposedbly cops smelled a strong odor coming from Ross's hotel room and when they went to investigate they found about a gram worth of marijuana in his room. Enough to put him behind bars for a very short period of time. Right after Ross went on twitter like it was nothing. Shit he got the money to be bailed out quick and it wasn't alot of trees, he's good he doesn't care. Plus, i'm sure he had way more than a gram on him they just couldn't find it lol.

So, after hearing Ryan Leslie's new song Joan of Arc, I found out that dude can rap. The song is about pretty much about being a star and the lady he loves does him dirty for being a star. It's a must check out as he raps on the verses and sings on the hook. so, much to my knowledge i wanted to get some more info. on Ryan Leslie, so i went to his website and got a chance to see a video for his Breathe record. Tight work on the video of him premiering the record in San Francisco. Check out the video below.

O.K., so usually on Sundays [starting last Sunday March 13] I go on twitter and start tweeting about what an artist, DJ, producer should or shouldn't do. Now, it's come to my knowledge that people just don't understand, and with the overwhelming response from many artists and industry personnel who let me know I should keep on advising the youth on the do's and don'ts. I've decided to type out a list of what you should do and what you should stay away from doing. So here it goes:
  • YOUR BRAND: Your Stage Name = Your Brand which is Your Company. So you need to treat it as if you were running a Company. BE PROFESSIONAL! At all costs. What I mean by PROFESSIONAL is that when you confront, write or talk to a person via through phone, person, e-mail, facebook, etc. come in with your "A" game. Talk like a business professional. We know your from the streets, and we might be from there to, but if you haven't realized this is a corporation. We're not dumb we are all smart, let's not forget that, and let's show the world that we as in Hip-Hop culture are not dumb we know how to speak and write.
  • NETWORK SITES: Facebook, Myspace & twitter are all good ways to network, be smart on how you network do not, I reply DO NOT take advantage of that. As a DJ myself, I hate it when people hit me up via instant message and say, "Yo check out my record its the hottest, its a club banger play it." I'm sorry but that's not how it works in the industry. First off, I don't even know who you are. So in that case I take it as spam, and most likely you'll get ignored and I'll never hear your record.
