The deejay known to many as 'the Jimi Hendrix of turntables' pays homage to the album art for Hendrix's 1967 Axis: Bold As Love, and sprinkles 50 hidden elements throughout the piece reflecting his life, interests and career. Two editions of the 250 pieces exist in this limited run of 60" x 25" canvases - Chromeo, boasting a metallic, hard-edged color pallette; and Spectrum, which stays true to the original Hendrix color format. Every piece is numbered and signed by DJ Q-Bert, making each a one-of-a-kind collectible. Additionally, each canvas bears a unique set of Q-Bert's handprints in acrylic paint atop the design. WAIL was founded in 2010 by King Tech of the World Famous Wake Up Show and MTV’s Sway Calloway in conjunction with notorious L.A. creativity house SceneFour. Check out Eminem & B.o.B.'s New Record Things Get Worst. This joint is crazzzzyyy! 50 Cent has done it again. I know alot of you have heard the stories about 50 Cent losing about 50 lbs. for a movie. It seems like Miami willl have the first look at his new movie, before the rest of the world. From what 50 Cent says, this is a true story about a friend of his, who was pursuing his dream to be a football star and go to the NFL. While he was pursuing his dream he found out he had cancer and the twists and turns of his life and dream come to a hault, and completely change. The movie will premiere in Miami next week during the Miami International Film Festival March 5, 2011. "Things Fall Apart was a true collaboration between 50 Cent and director Mario VanPeebles," MIFF Executive Director Jaie Laplante told AllHipHop.com. "50 Cent's physical transformation combined with Mario's vision for the film kept the story fresh, gritty and powerful. Fans in Miami will have a unique opportunity to see the film well before the rest of the world does." The film's world premiere will be at the Gusman Center in Miami on March 5th.
